Admission Requirement & Procedure
MAPS Program accepts application from February 1st to Mid of June every year through our website (http://www.maps-tu.org/index.php/apply-now/online-application-form.html) and by post. If you submit your application by post, it must reach us by the due date. Once we receive you application, you will be informed whether you have been selected to attend an interview screening which normally begin in mid-May.
The result will be announced on the website at the end of June at the latest. Successful applicants will receive the admission notification and offer letter by email and post.
Admission Requirement
- A Bachelor’s Degree in any field with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 and above from an accredited university. All scholarship applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and above.
- Minimum requirement for English Proficiency is 6.0 for IELTS (IELTS 4.5 is acceptable see NOTE)*,500 for paper-based TOEFL test, 61 for internet-based TOEFL test,and 500 for TU-GET. The official score report of English Proficiency is valid only if the test was taken no more than 2 years prior to the last date of the application submission period.
- Requirement for English Proficiency does not applied for native English speakers.
- Students with an International Bachelor’s Degree Program are not required to submit official evidence of English Proficiency test score upon application submission
*NOTE: Thammasat University requires all students who are not native speakers to meet the minimum score of English proficiency as a graduation requirement; therefore, students who have not met minimum requirement or have not yet submit English Proficiency Test score are required to submit official report of English proficiency to the University upon graduation.

mid May-June | After you have submitted your application, you can check the status of your application on your Application Status Page. Your application will be evaluated by the Admission Committee. Admission to MAPS Program is based on overall academic performance, letters of recommendation, statement of purpose, academic essay, and the interview screening. |
mid May-June | You will be informed whether you are selected to attend an interview screening which may be conducted in-person or via Skype (if you are an overseas applicant). The interview screening process will normally begin in mid-May. |
June 30th at the latest | Admission result will be announced on the website. Successful applicants will receive the admission notification and offer letter by email and post. |
